Melbourne Family Stays. Terms and Conditions:
Terms and Conditions: Once payment is received, your accommodation will be locked in. All money paid for accommodation is non-refundable. Your bond will be returned after a thorough inspection of the property upon completion of your stay. Please ensure that all rubbish is removed from the property and properly disposed of in the provided outside bins. Additionally, all dishes are to be washed and put away, and the property should be left in good order. We kindly request that you be mindful of heating/cooling usage and avoid excessive bills. In the event of high bills during your stay, they will be deducted from your bond or invoiced to you accordingly.
Unlimited internet is available for your use at the property, but please note that occasional dropouts or outages may occur. We cannot be held responsible for any issues related to poor Wi-Fi or loss of internet connection. Any Foxtel movies purchased during your stay will be deducted from your bond or invoiced separately.
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING: A booking will be considered confirmed upon receipt of full payment. By paying your invoice, you acknowledge and accept the terms stated above.
CANCELLATION: In the unfortunate event of a cancellation by the customer, the following conditions apply: (i) If Melbourne Family Stays is able to secure an equivalent booking confirmation with another customer for the contracted date, all monies paid to us will be refunded minus a 50% administration fee. (ii) If we are unable to make an equivalent booking confirmation, no refund will be provided. In the unlikely event that Melbourne Family Stays cancels a booking, a full refund will be issued for all monies received from the customer.
DAMAGE AND INSURANCE: The customer will be held financially responsible for any damage or loss sustained to equipment/items belonging to the facility caused by the customer, their servants, officers, contractors, guests, members, patrons, invitees, or any other associated persons.
LIABILITY OF AND INDEMNITY TO MELBOURNE FAMILY STAYS: The customer indemnifies Melbourne Family Stays to the fullest extent permitted by law from any claims, demands, damages, costs, losses, and expenses arising from personal injury, property damage, or loss of life incurred in connection with this Agreement and the use of the facilities, except where such injury, loss, or damage arises due to an act or omission of Melbourne Family Stays or its employees, agents, or subcontractors. Melbourne Family Stays is not liable for any loss of life, personal injury, or damage to property suffered at the facilities, except where such injury, loss, or damage arises due to an act or omission of Melbourne Family Stays or its employees, agents, or subcontractors.
By paying your invoice, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to all the above dates and Melbourne Family Stays' Terms and Conditions.
